Introduction to Forest School Day (Level 3)
An intensive, practical one-day course that gives students a forest school and outdoor learning experience, enabling them to complete a course assignment and develop their outdoor learning practice.

- Risk in the outdoors: 4 assessments, risk benefits and management

Unit Title – Learning & Development at a Forest School
This course will enable students to complete a 1500-word assignment covering the following:
- Understand the Forest School Approach to learning and development.
- Understand how a Forest School Programme can support Holistic development and learning.
- Understand how a Forest School programme can contribute to aspects of children’s learning and development, including self-esteem, emotional Intelligence, confidence, independence, creativity and risk taking.
- Understand the factors affecting children’s behaviour at a Forest School Programme
Timing: 9.30am – 3.30pm
Price: £42/student (minimum £504)
Includes: Expert tuition from L3 Forest School trainers, printed notes and worksheets and all equipment for practical sessions.
