Our expert-led school sessions turn the park into an exciting outdoor classroom where children investigate nature, discover local history and develop a real sense of place.

A landscape made for exploration

With a mix of habitats and unique heritage features, the park provides an outstanding setting for learning:

Woodlands with mini-beast hunting areas
Meadows buzzing with pollinators
Large ponds with dedicated dipping platforms
The River Severn, ideal for river studies
Historic industrial landscapes, shaped by sandstone quarrying and coal mining

Courses available

We offer half-day and full-day sessions tailored to Early Years, Primary and Key Stage 3.

We deliver sessions in all weathers – please encourage pupils to dress appropriately

The finer details

Group sizes

One tutor works with up to 35 pupils. For larger groups, please book multiple sessions.
Please bring one supporting adult for every eight children.

Times
We offer a morning session (half-day) or full day. If you only book the morning, you are welcome to stay after the session ends and explore more of the park yourselves.
