No previous experience is needed, just your desire to have a go! You’ll even get to make your own printing blocks from a variety of recyclable materials and found textures, looking at leaves in nature for inspiration.
You’ll explore the Gelli plate process, with a variety of printing and painting techniques, which is different to my other Gelli plate course. Then you’ll proceed onto printing your own truly unique images.

Being born in Colchester, I studied at Colchester Art School & then went on to do my Degree at Winchester School of Art. I have always had a love of history and where things come from. I enjoy working with lots of different textures, mediums and colours. I feel really lucky to live and work in such a beautiful place, along the River Stour and the surrounding areas of Flatford and Dedham.
The Stour’s wildlife and nature is abundant both on, in and along its’ banks, now being recognised as an “Area of Outstanding Beauty”. Great for a local Artist like me, for inspiration all year round!

What to bring
You don't need to bring any equipment; all will be provided on the day. However, you might want to bring some found textures e.g. leaves/ packaging papers.
Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on, or you may prefer to bring an apron to use on the day. Please bring a packed lunch; tea/coffee is provided throughout the day.
