Identify key human and physical features of the coastal zone at Torcross, from the shingle beach to sea defences. We will investigate the geology of the area, learning about the different rock types found on the beach and how they got there! We will learn how rising sea levels and storm events are impacting this coastal community and discuss the challenges of maintaining the beach and protecting the land for the future.
