If we are lucky we may spot newts and frogs too. Catch creatures, get up close and look at them in detail and find out more about them. Find out how to care for British wildlife and encourage it into your own garden.

Tutor: Michael Holland

Michael is an educator, gardener, photographer, author and all-round composting nerd! He has a passion for the natural world and Epping Forest. Michael had a 25-year career at the Chelsea Physic Garden in London, latterly as Head of Education for over 17 years. He is both a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London and of the London Environmental Educators’ Forum (LEEF). He has appeared on a number of television and radio shows and podcasts about plants. Michael’s first book, I Ate Sunshine for Breakfast, provides an inspiring and accessible introduction to the wonderful world of plants and how they are relevant to our lives.
