Aimed at participants wishing to enter the environmental work force or postgraduates seeking practical skills, this course is designed to teach a variety of skills useful for aspiring environmentalists. Courses will cover the basics of a Phase 1 Habitat Survey, computer-based mapping, species identification, practical nature conservation tasks and careers talk from an employee in a related field.
You’ll get to develop your skills and interests with like-minded people and foster connections with people working in the environmental field and beyond. This is a great opportunity to gain practical conservation skills on recognised projects and initiatives.

This course is open to those aged 18-24 years old and is suitable for the residential section of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. Always check with your leader before booking.

This residential is only open to young people who will be aged 18-24 years old at the time of attending.
