Neil Catchpole comes from a long line of countrymen who have lived and worked in the fields, woods and brickyards of East Anglia for over two centuries. He has worked as a sheperd, tree surgeon, forester and a biodiversity officer for the Stour Valley. Neil has a passionate interest in the history and folklore of this remarkable part of the Essex/Suffolk border.
