Green Match Fund 2025 – Double your donation!
We were excited to join the Big Give – Green Match Fund for the first time this April, meaning that anyone making a donation doubled their money and doubled their impact! By donating through our Big Give portal between the 22nd April and the 29th April the Big Give matched all donations giving us an amazing total of £8,060!
How does the The Big Give Green Match Fund work?
The Big Give have already lined up philanthropists and organisations who will match your donations made between the 22nd April and the 29th April, up to £5,000. Knowing that your money can do twice the good, The Big Give hopes to encourage more people to give toward good causes.
How will my donation be used?
This campaign is contributing to our Grants for Schools programme, Over 10 years, we’ve helped hundreds of schools with nearly half a million pounds of subsidies. In 2023 we were only able to fund a quarter of the applications we received, and we are expecting demand to increase due to the cost-of-living crisis, so we are very keen to use every opportunity available to add more to the fund.
By raising £10,000 we will be able to:
- Provide free two-night residential trips to our Field Studies Centres for 40 young people. These school group trips combine curriculum-based learning with outdoor activities and time for personal reflection.
- Provide free one-day outdoor learning experiences at our centres for 10 young people as part of a school group.
- Offer a discretionary fund for selected schools to help with transport and clothing costs to ensure no-one misses out due to the cost
