We’re delighted to have received a nomination for the 2023 School Travel Awards for the Best Geography Learning Experience.

The Travel Awards finalists are voted for by the readers of School Travel Organiser with winners announced at a special ceremony in June.

The awards recognise attractions, companies, experiences and people across the sector. With votes for the finalists coming from the schools who visit we are very proud to be included.

Our geography school trips cover all ages from primary to university, and we welcome 30,000 primary pupils and 37,000 secondary geography students each year to our UK centres. More than a third of A level geography students visit Field Studies Council.

All our geography course content is linked carefully to the curriculum and fieldwork is taught by our experienced and passionate tutors.

Students in Year 9 want to study geography because of the fieldtrip, which has helped to increase uptake at GCSE and has promoted the importance and relevance of geography around the school.

“Very few of our children have ever been into the countryside, let alone gone on a walk in hills or farmland.  For many of them this was the most inspiring element of the fieldwork’

Thank you to everyone who voted and good luck to all the nominees for the 2023 School Travel Awards.
