FSC has donated 18 laptops to the Omushana’s Community Libraries and ‘Fun with Books’ Programmes in Uganda.
The initiative enables more than 3,000 children to enjoy resources based at three community libraries, including books and IT equipment. There is also a team of staff to support with reading and lead events like book clubs and IT courses open to everyone.
“We are hearing again and again that children are starting to realise the joy of books and are beginning to read and enjoy story books.”
This donation means the laptops will not only continue to be used but they will help support this fantastic project, helping these local communities in Uganda to develop new skills, knowledge and interests.
