Join us for Fungal Foray. A guided exploration of the local area around Slapton and discover which fabulous fungi are flourishing this year. Learn how they grow, communicate and form relationships with plants and animals for survival.

With over 2000 species recorded in the reserve there’ll be some fascinating specimens to see. Aimed at anyone interested in understanding a little more about fungi and the vital role it plays in all life, there’ll be the opportunity to develop skills needed for identification and the chance to have a closer look under the microscope! Foldout guides can be borrowed during the walk and can be purchased at the end.

  • We will be outside so please dress appropriately for the weather.
