Join us and learn all about birds we spot. We will learn about how to spot them, find out what they are called and learn facts about them. Discover how to help them in our own gardens. International Dawn Chorus day is on the first Sunday in May each year. You will need to get up before dawn, choose a spot surrounded by nature and listen to the chorus!

Field Studies Council want to inspire people to be curious, caring and passionate about our environment. Our activities are designed to do just that. Led by Field Studies Council staff, they are based outdoors, and explore the natural world. The sessions are a mix of games and activities that will inspire you to find out more and discover how you can help wildlife on your doorstep. To take part you do not need any experience or any expensive kit, just an enthusiasm for being outside and discovering nature.
