This nationally recognised qualification allows you to lead Forest School sessions.
Participants experience all the practical aspects of Forest School, from bushcraft and woodcraft through to tool work and playful ways of interacting with the woodland, demonstrating what is possible for them to achieve in their own settings.
Our Forest School training courses are accredited by AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group
The course takes place Tuesday 30th July – Friday 2nd August and Sunday 5th – Wednesday 8th August.
Please note when returning on the Sunday, check in will be after 4pm.

The Level 3 training takes place over eight days.
Learners will also need to lead a minimum of six Forest School Sessions.
This course is accredited by AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group.
This qualification is designed to develop leadership, facilitation, practical and teaching skills to enable learners to understand the principles and ethos of Forest School. It also enables learners to deliver Forest School programmes. It is designed to meet the needs of school and college staff, teachers and teaching assistants, youth workers, adults and professionals in training to become a Forest School leader. This qualification will prepare learners for further study and employment in the outdoors.
Minimum age: 19 – Please note the minimum age for qualified Forest School Leaders is 21 (This is a Department for Education requirement).
