Do you enjoy the natural world and being outdoors?

Explore our opportunities for young people aged 16 - 24

Our programme of Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residentials offer a packed five day experience at one of our UK locations, exploring and learning about the outdoor environment.

We are passionate about encouraging and nurturing young people who have an interest in the natural world and the outdoors. We want to help them develop their skills and knowledge to perhaps consider it as part of their career choices.

Our DofE Gold Residentials include conservation, climate change, marine science and other subject specific courses. Our courses are for undergraduates or younger students considering their future study or career paths.

The residential is part of the Gold Award and requires participants to spend five days away, learning something with a team of other young people. Completing the DofE at any level helps young people to develop many skills and benefit from a range of experiences and we are proud to be a part of the scheme.

We are also able to offer DofE Bronze expeditions for groups.

All our activities are led by suitably qualified staff and, where offered, licensed activities will be covered by AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) certification.

As an Approved Activity Provider for DofE, our opportunities meet all the requirements for DofE. We do however always recommend checking suitability with your DofE assessor before booking a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential.

Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residentials with us also help you to:

  • Develop your passion
  • Have fun in the outdoors

  • Help with your study or career choices and CV or UCAS applications
