Freedom Diving offer specialist diver training and other associated courses throughout the year. There are a range of options for beginners all the way through to advanced.

They support getting more people in the water, diving and discovering the possibilities and discoveries the UK coastline offers.

Freedom Diving dives at sites all around Scotland, and they are offering an exciting suite of courses from our Millport centre in North Ayrshire.

Scuba Diving at Field Studies Council Millport

Field Studies Council Millport has a rich history as a marine research station. Since becoming a field centre, purpose-built accommodation and teaching spaces have been created to provide an excellent base for a range of courses.

It is situated metres from the shore on the Isle of Cumbrae for easy access to diving sites and a wide range of marine life including whales, seals and dolphins which are seen fairly regularly.

The Isle of Cumbrae is set just off the western shore of mainland Scotland. It looks out over the Firth of Clyde and other Clyde Sea islands, including the Isle of Arran providing a beautiful backdrop to dives.

The Freedom Diving courses at Millport offer all you need to start diving or grow your skills further.
