Really interesting to build on the earlier Summer Painting course where we consolidated the basics and then on this course to explore all the different techniques beyond the basics, seeing all the different effects through Hilary Gibson’s demonstrations of about 15 ways of making our paintings have more depth, texture and engagement – and then it was exciting to go out and apply them to good effect while painting outdoors. People liked the results when I posted my pictures on Facebook.
