Dave Green was an excellent leader in the field, and most agreeable too. It was just a pity that, for whatever reason, the trip to Caldey Island did not go ahead exactly as planned. We saw some things of great interest that day, but by no means all that had been anticipated. The other days were full of interesting and instructive features. Altogether the course whetted my appetite for a further visit to explore the geology of Pembrokeshire, and indeed the area generally.
