Our network of UK field centres are an excellent choice for dedicated time away from the classroom to focus on revision. They offer access to nature, ideal accommodation and a range of indoor and outdoor learning spaces.

We can create a revision trip to suit you. The example timetable below shows how a three day course could look but we can run courses which are different lengths or formats to fit your requirements.

Self-led revision residentials

We welcome all groups, studying any subject wishing to lead their own revision session. We provide the space and catering and we can support your experience, if you want, by leading fun outdoor activities, when a break from revising is needed.

Taught revision residentials

Our expert tutors can lead your group throughout the revision residential if you are studying geography, biology, ecology or environmental science. They will free up teachers’ time to support individual students and offer a different voice.

“Our year 10 students benefited greatly from having revision sessions with their teachers in a lovely rural setting interspersed with fun and interactive activities facilitated by the Field Studies Council staff”.

“The flexibility with the programme timetable for our revision course was extremely helpful in allowing us to create a meaningful revision weekend for our students.”

“Taking students out of their usual classroom environment for a revision course in a quiet, calm and beautiful rural setting raised their ambition when back at school.”
