This 1-day beginner course will introduce you to UK Habitats that form a rich and varied ecological network, shaped by soil, hydrology, climate, species assemblages and land management.

This beginner-friendly course explores the major UK habitat types and teaches you how to recognise them using key features and common indicator species. You’ll also gain a basic introduction to surveying methods, legislation and essential principles of habitat management.
