Due to Covid-19 we have had to cancel courses from March to 1st August, we hope you will find an event later in the year that you can attend.

This is a new course at Juniper Hall that is aimed at graduates and early professionals who wish to develop their fieldwork skills.  This course, focussed on grasslands and woodlands will include species identification skills, fieldwork design, GIS using ArcGIS online and analysis that will include statistics.

Aside from botanical skills, participants will also take part in surveys related to these habitats that include moth surveys and small mammal surveys.

This course allows participants to build up their skill base.  It could be incredibly valuable for those looking to move into environmental consultancy, survey work, teaching or research.

A certificate of attendance will be given with skills and areas covered for each participant.  This course can be completed as a stand-alone course.  It can also be studied alongside our complimentary course: Developing Fieldwork Skills for Graduates and Early Professionals 2 – Freshwater and Coastal running in November.  If both courses are booked, a 10% discount will be applied to both courses.
