Our family nature holidays are the perfect choice for families wanting to spend quality time together whilst reconnecting with nature.

All of our family holidays include:

  • Simple, no frills hostel-style accommodation
  • Hot and cold breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal provided
  • A full programme of led activities for the whole family
  • Indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxation
  • Hot and cold drinks facilities
  • A variety of room sizes from twin to larger dormitory, each family will have their own room(s) for their stay
  • Some ensuite rooms are available

Family Activities

Holidays are packed with nature-based activities that the whole family can enjoy such as pond dipping, bushcraft, minibeast hunts, walking trails and night hikes, campfire sing-alongs and searching for wildlife. They are led by enthusiastic outdoor leaders who will feed your curiosity with facts about the natural environment and world we live in.

This centre is in the heart of Constable Country alongside the River Stour and is a haven for wildlife making it the perfect location for your little nature spotters.

One of Flatford Mill’s buildings is ‘Willy Lotts House’, made famous by artist John Constable in his ‘Haywain’ painting. So if you have a budding artist or history buff in your family, they will be fascinated by the scenery and history of the area!

Set in a peaceful wooded valley, Juniper Hall is a large country house dating back to the 17th Century. It is situated in an unspoiled area of the North Downs at the edge of Box Hill.
Being in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty means many amazing rivers, woodlands and chalk grassland can be explored on the doorstep. It is a unique venue for nature-loving little ones and houses a butterfly garden, a walled garden, an icehouse, paddock and is home to a number of beehives.

This centre is ideal for adventurous families wanting to get the most out of their holiday. The 2.2 hectare estate includes a football pitch, woodland, biodiversity garden, stream, campfire area and ponds so there’s no shortage of opportunities to connect with nature during your stay.
