Can anyone stay with you?

Our family adventure holidays are specifically for families with children but we welcome all types of booking for bed and breakfast stays including couples, groups of adults, families, extended family groups and grandparents holidaying with their grandchildren.

Are babies/toddlers welcome?

Babies and little ones are welcome! Depending on who else is staying nearby, there may be some noise in the evening from older children playing.

Are cots available or do I need to bring my own?

Our Surrey – Box Hill and Devon locations have limited cots available to borrow, but you will need to request this before you arrive. No other centres have cots available to borrow. Baby baths and highchairs are not provided at any of our centres, so please bring your own.

Can we bring our pet?

Unfortunately, we do not have facilities for pets and cannot allow them to come on to our centres. However, we can make special arrangements to accommodate assistance dogs.

What are the rooms like?

We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. Our residential centres offer a range of room sizes and layouts from single and twin up to larger dormitories. Some rooms are en-suite and others have shower and toilet facilities close by. Prior to your arrival rooms will undergo thorough cleaning to minimise risk from covid-19.

Will I be sharing a room with other people?

Each group/family will get their own room which you can select on booking.com.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

All centres provide bed linen, but you will need to bring your own towels.

 

What’s the food like?

Our family adventure holidays include all meals and our bed and breakfast offering includes a healthy and hearty breakfast. We strive to maintain our high standards at all times. If you have any special food requirements, please check with the centre to see if we can facilitate.

Can we use facilities for self-catering?

Unfortunately, due to the current guidance, visitors are unable to use our catering facilities.

Do you have Wifi?

Our centres have free WiFi available in communal areas, and in some bedroom areas.

What time can I arrive from?

You can check in to our centres from 14.00-18.00.

Do you have disabled access/facilities?

Some of our locations have accommodation and facilities suitable for wheelchair access: Scotland – Isle of Cumbrae, Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, South Wales, Dale Fort and Surrey – Box Hill.

What is the access to centres like?
