Zentangle and Mandalas

When you Zentangle your focus is on drawing the patterns and not thinking about all the problems you have going on in your life. You can spend hours doodling without realising how much time has past, totally absorbed.

Once you have found the world of zentangle doodling the possibilities are endless, you can create beautiful drawings that come alive with all the patterns flowing through them. You can zentangle doodle in different shapes and form and even colour in your doodles making them even more striking.
In this session you will learn how to make mandalas using a special technique using spiral templates. Using the zentangle patterns in the front of the book you can fill them in to create beautiful mandalas.

Alison Mayston

Alison is the owner of The Craft Loft, a local business, in Suffolk set up with the help of the Princes Trust. She offers workshops at her studio/workshop in an idyllic garden setting at her home in the village of Burstall. She teaches a wide range of mediums, which include fused glass, silver clay jewellery, polymer clay, zentangle drawing and much more. Her ethos is to offer inspiration and encouragement and explore the huge health and wellbeing benefits that crafting can bring.
