Uncover the story of Suffolk’s landscape by exploring the geology beneath your feet and its connections to wildlife and archaeology.

The East Anglian landscape has many hills and vales and an attractive, low-lying coastline. How did they come to be what we see today? This course will give you a key to understanding the roots of Suffolk in deep time. It will appeal to anyone interested in the history of the ground beneath our feet, and links with wildlife and archaeology. The day will consist of an introductory session in the morning followed by a field trip in the afternoon.
