Explore life between the tides as we explore East Prawle’s stunning rocky shore environment. Every rock pool holds a secret ecosystem waiting to be discovered. From giant kelp fronds to miniature anemones, what will you discover?
Here in South Devon, we are incredibly lucky to have 125 miles of coastline on our doorstep, much of which is lined with rocks and rockpools. In this walk-and-talk event, you will learn about local marine wildlife, how to identify rocky shore animals and algae, and what to look out for in future adventures. Foldout guides can be borrowed during the walk and can be purchased at the end.
Location: East Prawle.
Dogs are welcome.
Explore our range of nature courses hosted by our engaging tutors and learn from their expertise and knowledge. Our nature experiences are a chance to meet like-minded people, a chance to unwind from everyday life, and a great opportunity to experience the UK’s glorious wildlife and the surrounding countryside of our field centres.
Fold out guides will be provided for the duration of the walk.
