Join us at our Bishops Wood centre in Worcestershire for our fun school holiday activities for children and families.
Activities are based outdoors, and explore the natural world. The sessions are a mix of games and activities that will inspire you to find out more and discover how you can help wildlife on your doorstep. To take part you do not need any experience or any expensive kit, just an enthusiasm for being outside and discovering nature.
Eco Tots: For families with children age 18 months – 5 years. Children under 12 months are welcome if accompanying a paying sibling. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Eco Explorers: For children aged 5 years – 8 years.
Eco Adventurers: For children aged 8 years – 11 years.
Discovery Days: Events for families with children of any age. Children must be accompanied by an adult. These are free to attend for adults and children but please book your place if you intend on coming along.
Family Nature Days: This is an event for families with children of any age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Eco Champions: Events for families with children over the age of 7. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Birthday Parties: We can host your birthday party. They run after school, at weekends and in school holidays (depending on availability and centre) and include a range of outdoor activities with an indoor space for your party food. Find out more.
If you are attending any of our events, please note:
- To bring appropriate clothing and footwear for being outside and activities are subject to change, depending on the weather.
- To help plan and safely staff the sessions, please book your place in advance. Please choose the ‘baby’ option when booking a place for children aged 12 months and under.

Family Nature Day - Bluebells - Enjoy exploring the forest and soaking in the sights, sounds and smells of the bluebell woods at their peak. During this self-led walk you can follow the paths and trails, make some bluebell-themed crafts and find out more about these wonderful flowers and other wildlife.

Eco Champions - (7+ years) - Dawn Chorus Day - Join us first thing in the morning to enjoy the magical sounds of the dawn chorus on International Dawn Chorus day. Whilst exploring Bishops Wood we will identify what birds we can hear and learn interesting facts about them. Discover how to help them in our own gardens. International Dawn Chorus day is on the first Sunday in May each year.
