Trees for Climate Action is a project led by Trees for Cities in partnership with the Field Studies Council. This project will take bold new steps to bring people together, creating opportunities for young people (up to 30) to engage with older people that they would not normally meet during their everyday lives. The project will deliver inter-generationaltree-related activities for young people to build their knowledge and learn new skills from environmental professionals and experienced volunteers, mobilising young people to take positive action against climate change.

Trees for Climate Action aims to engage 20,000 young people in two cities across two nations: Bradford and Glasgow.

We will be running a number of free tree training courses in your city up until late 2025. These are:

  • Discovering Trees in Spring
  • Discovering Trees in Summer
  • Discovering Trees in Winter
