Will you run the 2027 MyWay London Marathon for Field Studies Council?
We’re taking applications for the 2027 MyWay virtual London Marathon! You can walk or run wherever you are on Saturday 24th or Sunday 25th April 2027 and will have 24 hours to complete the race (starting at midnight on your chosen day).
Anyone who completes their race will receive an official London Marathon medal, and any donations raised (a minimum target of £200) will go towards giving young people access to the outdoors.

Frequently asked questions
1. Do I need to be an experienced runner to take part?
No. TCS London Marathon MyWay is open to people of all abilities. You can run, jog or walk the 26.2-mile distance and complete it at your own pace.
2. When do I need to complete the marathon?
You can take part on either Saturday 24 April or Sunday 25 April 2027. You’ll have from 00:00 to 23:59:59 on your chosen day to complete the distance.
3. Where can I complete my marathon?
Anywhere outdoors. You choose your own route, whether that’s local roads, parks, trails or a favourite running route. Please note that the distance cannot be completed on a treadmill.
4. How do I record my marathon distance?
Your marathon must be tracked using the official TCS London Marathon App on Marathon Day. The app records your progress and enables you to submit your result.
5. What will I receive when I take part?
We’ll provide a Field Studies Council running t-shirt, fundraising support and social media resources. Everyone who completes the challenge will receive an official TCS London Marathon finisher’s medal, and participants can also receive an official finisher’s T-shirt
