Very interesting course and great introduction to this unusual assemblage of plants. Hilary’s teaching was very logical and there was a mixture of abilities, which she coped with very well. Would recommend, especially to ecologists working in uplands.
very enjoyable course. Course leader was a good speaker and kept us entertained and interested even though we didn’t see very many birds of prey. an evening walk on the day of arrival would have been a good addition.
Came to this course as a refresher on grasses, Mark has an approachable way of teaching and helps you pick out key diagnostic features in a memorable way. Would highly recommend.

Grwet tutor (especially at such short notice), food good but shame about the tiny room (some four bed rooms only occupied by one person but we were squeezed into a small twin bed room with little hanging space and very few surfaces or draws to store anything!)…
