We effectively explored the many habitats to be found on the Isle of Cumbrae. Angus the course tutor expertly guided us around the wealth of grasses, ferns and flowering plants that were present. Angus was also very patient in helping us to correctly identify the plants. The centre is in…

A long drive – Friday evening last day of the school term – meant I was late arriving, but your staff had kept a dinner plate for me to eat before the evening session. Our excellent Tutor, Dave Grundy, involved all the group in setting up and bringing in moth…

I did Adrian Davies’ Digital Plant Photography course last year; enjoyed it and learnt so much that I booked again this year. And glad I did, to reinforce, consolidate and learn more about photographing flowers. A wet Wednesday was spend profitably in the lab. with Adrian – enthusiastic, experienced Tutor.

Really enjoyed the course. Learnt lots, inspired me to get on with identifying and maybe consider a further course in the future. Only criticism would have liked a snack/drink break after about an hour and half.

My girls 5 and 7 loved this holiday from the deer outside the dining room window to trapping mice and voles and den building. Food was yummy and all the staff were really friendly.
