Join Tim Holt-Wilson on a journey through time on this Ice Age Safari course.
A wonderful variety of prehistoric beasts once lived in Suffolk and Norfolk, including hippos, mammoths and sabre-tooth cats, also early humans. Using evidence from Ice Age rocks and fossils, we can tell the fascinating story of past wildlife. This family-friendly day will consist of an introductory session in the morning, with an opportunity to handle original bones, teeth and ancient tools, followed by a field trip in the afternoon to look at fossils in Ipswich Museum.
